Below is a whole bunch of Pokemon Movesets,
These are not compulsory in anyway, And its perfectly fine(Maybe not)
To have a Gyrados with Splash.
Note that only a few are my own Movesets.
Some were from Smogon, Marriland etc.
MOVESETS: Aerodactyl@ Life Orb/Choice Band
Jolly/Adamant | Pressure
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
- Ice Fang
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide/Stone Edge
This set can wreck a team if used properly. Timid to outspeed any Modest counterparts. Shadow Ball is preferred, since it covers other Psychics like Cresselia. If you have the patience to IV breed, HP Fire can cover Steel. Focus Blast is necessary despite its 70% accuracy because Weavile, Umbreon, Tyrnaitar, Blissey, and Snorlax will destroy it otherwise.
Standard special wall Blissey. No need for Special Defense EVs since its Special Defense is high enough already, bolstered by its insane HP and 252 HP EVs. 252 in Defense and a Bold nature allow it to survive some physical hits as well.
This is your standard WishBliss. This thing serves as excellent Wish support for many teams, and can heal itself with Wish and Protect. Seismic Toss is excellent for fixed damage. Ice Beam is viable if you want to hit Dragons, or Toxic for massive ToxiStalling. Whichever you need. Use a Bold nature if Extended Game Clause is on or if you're on Shoddy. Only use Calm if you feel that Bold would be an extreme hack.
Blissey@ Leftovers
Bold|Natural Cure
252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Special Attack
-Calm Mind
-Softboiled
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
Poison Heal+Toxic Orb is an excellent combination. Use Spore to put the opponent to sleep and then Focus Punch and Seed Bomb away. Stone Edge covers Flying-types and can usually 2HKO a bulky Gyarados even after Intimidate. Substitute if you want to have improved Punching ability and can handle Flying-typs in some other manner.
Excellent physical wall/support, handling physical attackers well, setting up Stealth Rock, Rapid Spinning out of your opponent's Stealth Rock, and hitting Garchomp, Salamence, and any Ninjask not running Protect with Ice Shard.
Dragonite can do many good things better than Salamence or Garchomp, such as Dragon Dance and Outrage. It also has the defenses to survive one ice beam even with stealth rock and sandstream damage.
Standard mixed, mostly special wall Dusknoir. Will-o-wisp makes for great anti-spin. Fire Punch is to eliminate any Guts Heracross that switches in on Will-o-wisp, while Shadow Sneak gives it a priority move. ThunderPunch is a counter to the common Tauntrados.
Electivire@ Expert Belt
Adamant | Motor Drive
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
- Cross Chop
- Ice Punch
- Thunderpunch
- Earthquake
Standard physical Electivire with excellent type coverage. You can also run a Lonely nature, but some EVs in special attack, and give it Thunderbolt over Thunderpunch for improved wall-smashing abilities.
Standard CBChomp. This thing is a powerhouse. Earthquake for obvious power and STAB. You can use Outrage or Dragon Claw in the second slot. All based on preference. The third slot is pretty open. Use Crunch with Outrage to hit the common Cresselia switch-in in the early game, or use Stone Edge if you want to hit Gyarados. You can even run Dragon Claw with Outrage. Two Dragon moves may seem completely pointless and stupid, but they fulfill different purposes. Dragon Claw is a reliable STAB that hits other Dragons, while Outrage cleans up the late game. Dragon+Ground+Fire hits everything for neutral damage as is, though. I prefer Crunch, personally. The last slot is also up to choice. Fire Fang hurts Bronzong more, Fire Blast hurts Skarmory more.
Timid Gengar outspeeds many pokemon and hits hard. If you run Hypnosis, this thing works well as a lead. Use Hypnosis and either stay in or switch to a counter. Hypnosis goes with Life Orb, HP Ice with Specs.
Outruns Max Speed Tar (and Adamant Breloom/Metagross). It easily 2HKOs CBTar (which is the bulkiest non-Boah Tar I could think of) and OHKOs Hera. Stealth Rock over Knock Off because I like it more (and you wanted it Ekul), and Roost for a healing move.
And alternatively, you could run Stealth Rock on a Celebi, but I don't know why you would.
Hariyama@ Toxic orb
Adamant | Guts
252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 SpDef
- Fake Out
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake/Bullet Punch
- Cross Chop
Heatran@ Choice Specs/Choice Scarf
Modest/Mild/Rash | Flash Fire
56 HP, 252 SpAtk, 200 Spd
- Fire Blast/Flamethrower/Overheat
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse/H [Electric]
- Explosion/HP [Electric]
Standard SpecsTran. Another special sweeper option is the ScarfTran, using basically the same set. Use Mild or Rash if you're running Explosion.
Heracross@ Choice Band/Choice Scarf
Adamant | Guts
104 HP, 252 attack, 152 speed
Close Combat
Megahorn
Stone Edge
Pursuit/Night Slash
With Choice Band, STAB Close Combat and Megahorn hurt. Scarf if you want speed priority over more power.
Houndoom@ Focus Sash
Timid | Flash Fire
6 HP, 252 Spd, 252 SpAtk
- Nasty Plot
- HP [Fighting/Water/Grass]
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
Infernape@ Life Orb
Naive | Blaze
24 Atk, 232 Spd 252 SpAtk
- Nasty Plot
- Grass Knot
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat
The infamous wall-killing MixApe. Flamethrower will be your primary sweeping move. Flamethower+Close Combat laughs at SkarmBliss, and Grass Knot eliminates the Swampert, Donphan, or Hippowdon switch-in after a Nasty Plot.
Metagross@ Life Orb
Naughty | Clear Body
252 Atk, 188 Spd, 70 SpAtk
- Grass Knot
- HP [Fire]
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
Didn't see the need for Explosion, what with the new moves he's sporting to beat walls WITHOUT KOing himself in the process.
Decided to just merge the HP and SAtk to 2HKO Suicune with Sand and Stealth Rock in play.
Thanks to Katsura for this one.
Metagross@ Choice Band
Adamant | Clear Body
252 HP, 232 Atk, 16 Def, 8 Spd
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Thunderpunch/Pursuit/Zen Headbutt/Bullet Punch
The Advance-Gen Metagross returns with some new options. The last slot is based on your preference.
Standard physical wall. Use Thunderbolt if you want Gyarados coverage, Will-o-wisp to fend off any physical sweepers that don't have Guts.
Sp. Sweeper w/some nice defences. You may wanna BP some speed though.
